Patty Henry, Founder and Curator of Happiness
Fitness and wellness have long played a central role in Patty’s life. A lifelong student of yoga, dance, bodywork and energy alignment therapy, Patty has over 1,000 hours of training in various fitness and wellness modalities as well as a personal yoga practice for more than three decades. A devotee of a variety of styles, Patty’s sweet spot is a luxe vinyasa flow: the manifestation of meditation in motion when breath meets movement in an expansive energetic alignment.
Patty has taught at health clubs, yoga studios and to private clients for over 20 years. Her yoga influences include Shiva Rea; Wanderlust co-founder Schuyler Grant; the late Pattabhi Jois; and others shaping her Vinyasa creativity, Ashtanga rigor and Iyengar precision. In addition to her yoga background, Patty holds certifications in ballet barre conditioning and Thai yoga massage; she is also a practicing Reiki Master.
A descendent of Nordic settlers, Patty is a globetrotter, former Peace Corps Volunteer, avid triathlete, Telemark and Nordic skier and climber. She is grateful to live an inspired life in the Rocky Mountains with her wildland firefighter husband and their active young son.
